CLM Brazil pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Aparecida

As a sign of devotion and filial love to the Virgin Mary, members of the Christian Life Movement (CLM) from São Paulo, Petropolis and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, participated in a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Aparecida on June 4th.
The pilgrimage began with the prayer of the Holy Rosary around an image of the Nativity. Then, the participants went to visit the original image of Our Lady of Aparecida, which appeared to three fishermen in the year 1717, to ask for her intercession.

At the end of the afternoon, the emevecistas participated in the Holy Mass of Pentecost, in which our brother Sodalit priests, F. Héctor Velarde, F. Felipe Peligrinelli and F. Alexandre Arosa, also concelebrated.
Monique Bernardi, from the CLM Petropolis tells us that this pilgrimage “was a great joy to be able to participate once again walking towards the house of the Aparecida Mother. Another joy was meeting members of our spiritual family that I hadn’t seen for a long time”.
“The most special moment was the Mass”, highlights Juliana Lima, from CLM São Paulo, “because I was at the altar of the Basilica together with young beneficiaries of Solidarity in March (SOMAR). It was very exciting to participate in the Holy Mass so close to the altar”, he highlighted.
