Humberto Del Castillo presents his new book ‘Camino de Virtud y Reconciliación’
Seeking to contribute to the integral development of the person, in the clinical, educational and family environments, our brother Humberto Del Castillo Drago, founder and general director of Centro Areté, presents his new book called: ‘Camino de Virtud y Reconciliación’ for today, March 3rd at 8:00 pm, Bogota time, through the Facebook page and Youtube channel of the Center.
This presentation, in addition to Del Castillo Drago, will feature the intervention of other members of the Areté Center, such as psychologists Paola Riveros Maldonado and Mónica Caballero Andrade, as well as psychologists associated with the Center, Laura Gómez Giraldo and Juan Esteban Valencia Rey.
This presentation will take place as part of the activities of the recently celebrated tenth anniversary of Areté Center. Those who wish to attend can do so through the following links: Facebook and Youtube.
About his new publication, our brother emphasizes that this is “the chronicle of these first years of Areté, starting from the beginning of my path of being a psychologist and how it takes shape when I arrive in Medellin, and then narrate the most important events of the Center’s journey from 2011 to 2021. I narrate the events according to the order in which they happened, giving my testimony of what was happening and I include the testimony of a good number of people who have been privileged actors of the pilgrimage of Arete during this time. I consider that the testimonies mentioned are very important, since the Areté Center is a corporate work, where the actions of God, of each one and of the joint work with the effort of many to help others stand out”.
Born in 1965 in Lima, Peru, Humberto Del Castillo Drago has been a member of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae since late 1981. After the initial years of religious formation, he dedicated himself to the youth apostolate and spiritual counseling. He is currently the General Director of the Centro Center and one of the main promoters of the ‘Psychotherapy of Reconciliation’. He is dedicated to clinical psychology and the formation and training of different people from Areté.
