The inauguration of “Christmas and popular art: The most beautiful Nativity scenes in Peru” , as the exhibition is titled, included the participation of Rev. Jerónimo Olleros SJ, parish priest of the Iglesia de la Compañía, Merixtell Oms, director of the association “La Andean Baroque Route”, and Javier Leturia, director of ICTYS.

The event included special moments, such as the presentation of the “Dance of Rattles” by the artist Augusto Loayza and his nephew Eder Lucas, dedicated to the adoration of the Child Jesus. It should be noted that despite the rain, the inauguration attracted a large audience, creating an atmosphere of joy, color, faith and culture.

This exhibition has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the Cultural, Theater and Social Institute – ICTYS, with the support of “Jesuitas del Perú” and the association “La Ruta del Barroco Andino”. In addition, prominent artists such as Larry Segundo, Germán Romero, Ángel Alfaro and Carlos Alberto Aranya have contributed with their talent, further enriching the visual experience.
