Sodalits meet in Cali to deepen collaborative work with the CLM

As a community we want to keep up to date with the needs of our evangelizing mission and for this we participate from August 30th to September 2nd in Cali, Colombia, the ‘Training Days for Sodalits who collaborate in the CLM’, an event organized by the Council of the CLM and the Department of the Apostolate of the SCV, in which we bring together brothers from the different countries in which we serve apostolically.

In these days of formation we seek to deepen the renewal by the SCV of participating in the common charism and mission with the CLM, as well as deepening the various values that the Christian Life Movement (CLM) is currently promoting.

Also, on each day of the Conference, our brothers received training and accompaniment on the work they do to integrate the apostolate of the CLM in the apostolic life of our communities. Similarly, they had spaces for reflection in relation to the needs and challenges of each locality as well as spaces to share experiences and generate synergies.

We dealt with a variety of topics during the conference, among which we highlight “Identity and mission of the CLM”, dictated jointly by Carlos Muñoz (Assistant General of the Apostolate of the Sodalitium), Alexandre Borges (General Coordinator of the CLM), Sandra Díaz (Executive Secretary of the CLM), and Rubén Arrunátegui (Communications Manager of the CLM).

Our brother Diego Oga (In charge of the Youth Apostolate of the CLM and the Sodalitium) explained the formation itinerary for young emevecesitas. María del Carmen Campos, consultant at Humane Consulting Group, shared reflections on the contribution of women in our spiritual family.

We also had the participation of consultants from Humane Consulting Group, Pedro Collantes and Álex von Buchwald, who directed the spaces aimed at developing soft skills towards collaborative work and updating the intergenerational context to foster relationships.

It should be noted that we begin each day with the celebration of Holy Mass in the Cathedral of Cali, to place our offers and requests for the days in the hands of God and our Mother Mary.

We culminate the training sessions by establishing a collaboration network between all the brothers, and thus be able to contribute in the best way to the CLM.
