Sodalitium Christianae Vitae in Costa Rica

Sodalitium Christianae Vitae - English / Sodalitium Christianae Vitae in Costa Rica

Before the arrival of the Sodalitium, the Christian Life Movement (CLM) was founded in 1993 in the city of San José and since then members of the Sodalitium have been accompanying the life of the Movement through Marian Groups, groups from Nazareth, Bethany and Emmaus.

The presence of the Sodalitium in Costa Rica began in 2005 in the Archdiocese of San José, with the first community being inaugurated – under the patronage of Our Lady of the Angels – on August 2 of that year.

Since the beginning of the Sodalit presence in Costa Rica, there was an important role in the Christian Life Movement in caring for young people and adults through the Marian Groups, Nazareth, Betania and Emmaus, thus encouraging their growth.

Currently, the apostolic mission of the Sodalit community in Costa Rica aims to participate in the life of the Christian Life Movement and encourage its members. After the growth and organization of solidarity projects over the years, Sodalits participate and encourage the life of Solidarity in Motion projects, as well as, an important contribution to the life and development of the John Paul II University.
