Sodalits

The members of the Sodalitium Christiane Vitae are called Sodalits. The Sodalits give themselves to God, striving to be fully available for the announcement of the Gospel, cooperating, according to the guidelines of the Church’s Magisterium, so that all worldly realities may be conformed to the Plan of God.

Desiring to respond to the vocation to a full apostolic availability, the Sodalits make commitments – which are not technically religious vows – of obedience and celibacy.

All of the members of the Sodalitium have a truly equal dignity and service. Between the Sodalits, the only differences are those of degree of membership and commitment, and the characteristics of their particular service. All participate in the common mission and are co-responsible for the progress of the community.
